Privacy & your data

Your StudentVUE credentials and grade data are never stored on Teacher Meter servers — grades, schedule, and attendance are fetched on your device, for your eyes only. Reviews are submitted anonymously and are never tied to your name or student account, and your identity is never shared with teachers, schools, or other students.

Common questions

Make sure you can sign in on your district's StudentVUE website with the same username and password first — Teacher Meter uses those exact credentials. If the website works but the app doesn't, your school may be on a district portal we haven't added yet. Email us your school and district name and we'll look into it.
Pull down to refresh on the Grades screen. If it still won't load, sign out and back in — grade data is fetched live from StudentVUE, so an expired session is the most common cause. Still stuck? Email us with your device model and app version.
Email us the teacher's full name, the school, and the city, and we'll add them. Teacher Meter currently focuses on Bay Area schools using StudentVUE/Synergy, with more regions being added.
Yes — Teacher Meter is completely free to download and use. Browsing reviews, checking the leaderboard, and viewing your grades all cost nothing.
Yes. Reviews are submitted anonymously and are never tied to your name or student account. Your identity is never shared with teachers, schools, or other students.
Email rishik.kasula42@gmail.com with a short description and, if you can, a screenshot. Feature requests are genuinely read — a lot of what's in the app came from student suggestions.
